ENGAGEMENT IN ACTION

ENGAGEMENT AS A FIRMWIDE COMMITMENT

At Davis Wright Tremaine, responsible business begins with engagement: how we connect with our colleagues, support one another, and contribute to the communities we serve. In 2025, engagement emerged as a unifying theme across our responsible business efforts, shaping how our lawyers and business professionals aligned their work with their values and the impact they aimed to make.

Across offices and practices, our colleagues embraced opportunities to engage more intentionally with colleagues and clients, and in the communities where we live and work. Whether through pro bono service; social impact initiatives; diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts; or sustainability work, our people demonstrated that meaningful impact comes from shared participation and collective commitment.

Just as important are the ways engagement strengthened our firm’s culture. Throughout the year, our colleagues invested time in mentoring, professional development, and collaborative learning, efforts that deepened connections across the firm and helped ensure that everyone had the opportunity to contribute and grow. This spirit of participation supports a culture where people feel a sense of belonging and a shared responsibility.

Our partnerships with clients and community organizations also played an important role in expanding the reach of this work. By engaging together in pro bono matters, service initiatives, and social impact programs, we strengthened relationships while advancing efforts that support people and organizations facing significant challenges.

The achievements highlighted throughout this report reflect just a portion of what our people accomplished together in 2025. More importantly, they represent a firmwide commitment to engagement in our work, in our culture, and in our communities.

ENGAGING WITH PURPOSE

A Message From Our Managing Partner, Jaime Drozd

The legal profession is changing quickly as technology advances and client expectations evolve. Last year, we focused on how our people engage with their work so that DWT remains ready for what comes next.

Across the firm, lawyers and business professionals strengthened the skills our clients rely on and looked for practical ways to improve how we deliver our services. Many tested new tools, including AI, and applied them in ways that help address complex legal and business challenges.

Our colleagues also continued building strong relationships with clients and staying connected to the communities where we live and work. These connections help us better understand the challenges people and organizations are facing and where our firm can contribute.

The examples throughout this report reflect the many ways our people put that commitment into practice each day. I'm grateful for the dedication they bring to their roles and confident it will continue to move the firm forward.
